Introduction

Messari has an extensive catalog of developer APIs for the majority of data available on messari.io

Messari Typescript SDK

For the best developer experience, it is recommended that TS / JS users use the official Messari Typescript SDK . See the detailed examples for reference.

For now Messari API system is an Enterprise-gated product that requires an Enterprise subscription to access. The base package offers default access to 3 API services:

  1. Asset API
  2. News API
  3. Marketdata API

The other services are offered on a service-by-service in an à la carte fashion. If you would like access, contact [email protected] for access.


API Key

For both the Typescript SDK and the REST APIs, you'll need a Messari API Key. See Authentication

Authorization

If you are receiving an Unauthorized error when calling an endpoint, it is likely that your API key is not provisioned to access that service. Contact [email protected] to inquire about access or if you believe you should have access they can quickly update your permissions.
