Messari's Newsfeed brings together hundreds of sources with MessariAI generated summaries to keep you on top of the fast moving crypto industry. The Videos and Podcasts page provides embedded YouTube videos that are also accompanied by MessariAI-generated summaries.
This page includes a step-by-step guide on how to get the most from Messari's Newsfeed, along with hot tips for success and FAQs collected from Messari users. Be sure to check out the full Video Library for detailed walkthrough videos.

Use the News
tab in the top navigation and select Newsfeed
to access the full news coverage of over 1000 sources.
Messari AI Daily News Recaps
Front and center on the Newsfeed page, you will find Messari AI's Daily News Recaps. These are a curated summary of the most covered topics of the day. Many users prefer to check this throughout the day to see what is moving the markets. It can be helpful after a long weekend to click through past recaps and quickly get up to speed!
Use the Show/Hide Sources
button on the sidebar preview to display the primary sources.
Recommended and All News
There are two views available for the Newsfeed in the left hand navigation. The functionality is similar with the only difference being the Sources included in each feed.
- Recommended News: contains a curated list of 12 sources for a high-signal feed
- All News: contains over 1000 news outlets, Substacks, Project Forums & Blogs, and much more
News Filtering
On both the Recommended News and All News views, you will find a search bar and dropdowns for filtering. Many users prefer to leave filters off the Recommended News page to see the curated, high-value newsfeed and stay on top of market developments. Then, users prefer to filter the All News view across 1000 sources using either an Asset/Watchlist or a Category/Subcategory.
Available filters include:
- Asset/Watchlist: filter by a specific asset or a list of assets relevant to you (see Creating a Watchlist)
- Source: filter by specific News sources
- Category: filter using 12 high-level Categories (see Messari Classification System)
- Subcategory: filter using over 50 Subcategories (see Messari Classification System)
Messari AI News Summaries
Selecting any News article will open the preview panel. This includes a bullet point summary generated by Messari AI, as well as a link to the full article. The curated summary allows you to save time by quickly reviewing an article's contents.
Many users prefer to start their day on the Newsfeed, utilizing the Messari AI summaries to get up to speed on the headlines that were generated overnight.
News Hot Tips
- Many users prefer no filters on the Recommended News page as their main crypto newsfeed. Then, on the All News page, users typically filter by their Watchlist assets to see all relevant headlines from over 1000 sources.
- Remember the Messari Classification System Categories and Subcategories are available as filters on the Newsfeed.
- The MessariAI News Summaries have a link icon in the top-right corner that allows you to share important summaries directly with your teammates.
