Project Page Overview
The Messari Project Page aggregates and organizes a wealth of qualitative and quantitative data to help you learn more about a specific asset, protocol, or investor.
With its consolidated view and organized panel of datasets, users can easily find project, asset, and investor overviews, as well as metrics, charts, research, news, protocol fundamentals, and governance information.
This page includes a step-by-step guide on getting the most from Messari's Project Page, along with hot tips for success and FAQs collected from Messari users. Be sure to check out the full Video Library for detailed walkthrough videos.
Project Pages are available for all users, with certain sections exclusive to Messari Pro or Enterprise subscribers. Please visit our Pricing page to compare plans or Contact Us if you have any questions.

Access & Navigate Project Pages
Access Project Pages
You can access Project Pages by using the search bar in the top right corner of the platform to find a specific project or investor and clicking on their name.
Alternatively, you can click on an asset’s or investor’s name throughout the platform to quickly navigate to their Project Page.
In preview panels, select View Asset Page
or View Fundraising Page
to open the associated project or fundraising page.
Navigate Project Pages
Project pages provide access to all of the related Messari data for a particular asset, protocol, or investor. The collapsible left-side navigation menu allows you to quickly browse through charts, market data, fundraising, research, and more without leaving the page.
Add to Watchlist or Set up Alerts
You can add an asset to your Watchlist from any Project Page by selecting Add to Watchlist
in the top right corner. Remove an asset from your Watchlist by clicking Added to Watchlist
.
Pro and Enterprise subscribers can also set up alerts for an asset by clicking Alert Me
.
Overview
The Overview section is divided into three pages: Snapshot, TradingView, and Profile.
For assets, the Project Page opens by default on the Snapshot page. For investors, its default is on the associated Fundraising page.
Snapshot
The Snapshot page offers a concise overview of a project's core objectives and related external sources.
It includes:
- A brief summary of the project
- Links to external resources (e.g., contract addresses, GitHub pages, socials)
- Messari AI auto-generated Project Recap, which summarizes project-related news and events from the past 7, 30, or 90 days.
You can customize the performance chart to view metrics such as price, marketcap, and volume across different timespans. Enterprise users can toggle on Notable Events to quickly identify price reactions to high-impact, fundamental events. Take a custom screenshot of the chart or view the project's full chart library using the ...
menu on the top right corner of the chart. Begin chart analysis by clicking on the []
icon which will take you to the asset's associated TradingView chart.
Below the summary and chart, you’ll find related news and, for Enterprise users, key developments. At the bottom, you can access related research, ROI data, fundraising info, and markets. Use the Similar Projects section to learn about other projects in the same Sector.
Project Recaps
Project Recaps are powered by Messari AI and provide an overview of project-related news and events that have taken place over the last 7, 30, or 90 days.
Click Read Recap
beneath the project summary to open its Project Recap. Set your desired timeframe at the top, and dig into the AI-generated bullet point summaries for News, Key Developments, Research, Videos & Podcasts, and Network Metrics. All Recaps provide links to original sources for further reading.
TradingView
Perform technical analysis using Messari's TradingView integration. Learn more about this charting tool here.
Profile
The Profile page offers additional information on the project’s background, purpose, and history.
Exchanges
Exchange Page
Messari's Exchange Page (or Exchange Overview) provides a deep-dive view on a specific exchange. Click on an exchange's name throughout the platform to navigate to its Exchange Page.
The Exchange Page contains the following information:
- Brief summary
- Links to external resources
- Rankings in terms of volume among exchanges Messari tracks
- Sector marketshare heatmap with customizable views and timeframes
- MessariAI-generated 30-day Exchange Recap
- New listings
- Unique Asset Pairs and access to the exchange's All Markets page
- Related exchanges
To learn more about the company behind the exchange, use the left-side navigation menu to explore Investor, Entity, and Asset-related data, if available. Learn more about Project Pages here.
Throughout the Exchange page, users can quickly determine whether a unique asset pair's data is live, stale, or inactive thanks to the Liveness
icon adjacent to its name:
- Live: Messari has received trades from this market within the last 10 minutes
- Stale: Messari has not received a trade from this market over the last 10 minutes, but it has traded over the last 24 hours
- Inactive: Messari has not received a trade from this market in over 24 hours
Note: Decentralized Exchanges are split by protocol, and one DEX project (ex: Uniswap) can contain several distinct exchanges (ex: Uniswap v2, Uniswap v3).
Exchange Recap
The Exchange Recap provides a Messari AI-generated summary of exchange-related news and events that have taken place over the last 30 days.
Click Full Exchange Recap
to open it, and dive into a 30D Recap Overview, as well as a timeline of events. All Recaps provide links to original sources for further reading.
Sector Marketshare Heatmap
The Sector Marketshare heatmap illustrates the volume of all assets grouped by Sector as a % of total exchange volume.
Adjust its timeframe by clicking Timespan
. Options include 24H, 7D, or 30D (default). You switch the scale from Linear
to Logarithmic
at the top of the heatmap. The Linear scale displays sector sizes as a % of total exchange volume, while Logarithmic (base 10) amplifies smaller sectors for better visibility.

New Listings
The New Listings section provides the 6 newest trading pairs added to the exchange, starting with the most recent. Information includes:
- Token pairs (clicking on a token's ticker will open its associated side bar preview panel)
- The pair's total 24H volume (which is continually updated)
- Listing date (e.g., "1 day ago")
Markets
The Markets section displays unique asset pairs on the exchange. Search for pairs using the search bar at the top of the table.
Note: For DEXes, swaps in both directions are normalized to provide a single base/quote pair.
The following information is provided for each pair:
- Unique asset pair (clicking on a token's ticker will open its associated side bar preview panel)
- Price: Last traded price of asset pair on the exchange, denominated in USD
- 24H Performance Component: Summary of market performance over the past 24 hours (hover over the data to see high, low, opening, current price, and % price change)
- 24H Total Spot Volume
- Volume on Exchange: % of total exchange volume traded by this asset pair
To view all of an exchange's market pairs on the exchange's All Markets page, click See All Markets
at the bottom of the table.
All Markets Page
The Exchange page's All Markets page offers a closer look at all of the pairs trading on an exchange that Messari tracks.
In addition to important metrics about the exchange's 24H trading volume, it also offers links to external resources and the ability to quickly copy or share a link to the exchange's Exchange page using the Share
icon.
The exchange's trading pairs are, by default, sorted by 24H Volume.
Metrics include:
- Unique asset pair (clicking on a token's ticker will open its associated side bar preview panel)
- Price: Last traded price of this asset pair on exchange, denominated in USD
- 24H Performance Component: Summary of market performance over the past 24 hours (hover over the data to see high, low, opening, current price, and % price change)
- 7D Price Graph: Market price time-series over last 7 days
- 24H Total Spot Volume (sorted by default)
- % Change in 24H Volume
- Volume on Exchange: % of total exchange volume traded by this asset pair
- Premium/Discount: % difference between the price of the base asset in the asset pair, and the VWAP asset price for the base asset. A Positive number means this market is trading at a premium over the VWAP asset price. A Negative number means this market is trading at a discount
- First Trade: Date of earliest recorded trade on exchange as tracked by Messari. “New” markets have a first trade date that is within the last 24 hours
- Liveness: Indicates whether a unique asset pair's trading data is live, stale, or inactive
- Recently Listed: Indicates asset pairs added to the exchange over the last 7 days
You can sort by any of the columns mentioned above. Filter for pairs by asset/ticker name in the search bar, or use the dropdown filters for Liveness, First Trade, and Listed (was it recently listed?) at the top of the table.
Related Exchanges
Explore additional exchanges that are also centralized or decentralized using the options in the Related Exchanges section.
Markets
The Markets section displays all tradable markets that Messari tracks for the project's primary asset. Metrics include:
- Exchange (click on an exchange to navigate to its Exchange page)
- Unique asset pair (click on a token's ticker to open its side bar preview panel)
- Price: Last traded price of this asset pair on exchange, denominated in USD
- 24H Performance Component: Summary of market performance over the past 24 hours (hover over the data to see high, low, opening, current price, and % price change)
- 7D Price Graph: Market price time-series over last 7 days
- 24H Total Spot Volume (sorted by default)
- % Change in 24H Volume
- Volume on Exchange: % of total exchange volume traded by this asset pair

Search for a specific asset's trading pairs using an asset's name or ticker, or filter your results using the following dropdown menus:
- Liveness: Live means Messari has received trades from this market within the last 10 minutes. Stale means Messari has not received a trade from this market over the last 10 minutes, but it has traded over the last 24 hours. Inactive means Messari has not received a trade from this market in over 24 hours.
- First Trade: Date of earliest recorded trade on exchange as tracked by Messari. “New” markets have a first trade date that is within the last 24 hours
- Listed: Indicates asset pairs added to the exchange over the last 7 days
Network Fundamentals
The Network Fundamentals page offers in-depth metrics for analyzing network performance, such as transaction fees, daily transactions, and total value locked (TVL).
It opens by default on the Overview tab. Use the Timespan
dropdown to filter network data by timespan. It begins by default on 30D. Other options include 7D, 90D, 180D, 1Y, and 3Y. Hover over a chart for more details and on a metric's tooltip i
icon for its definition.
Click on the Methodology tab for a comprehensive overview of Messari's Networks metrics with descriptions and formulas.
Enterprise users can export this data for additional analysis by clicking Export CSV
in the top right corner.
Statements
The Statements page provides quarterly aggregated data on a network's key metrics, allowing users to track network performance over time. Customize the chart by selecting a metric and adjusting the timespan.
Below the chart is a live table displaying quarter-to-date and prior quarter metrics. Four views are available:
- Key Metrics: circulating marketcap, transaction fees, average daily active addresses, average daily transactions, average transaction fee, DeFi TVL, stablecoin marketcap, and average daily DEX volume.
- Financial: circulating marketcap, circulating supply, price of the primary asset (e.g., SOL for the Solana network), transaction fees, average daily transactions, average transaction fee.
- Network: average daily transactions, average daily successful and unsuccessful transactions, average daily active addresses, average daily new addresses, average daily returning addresses, total contract calls, new contracts deployed, and average daily active contracts.
- Ecosystem: TVL, stablecoin marketcap, average daily DEX volume, bridge net flow, bridge deposit volume, and bridge withdraw volume.
Quarter-to-date is comprised of daily metrics up to the current date. Note that % changes are shown below the raw metrics and represent changes between the quarter displayed and the one immediately prior.
Quarterly Reports
Quarterly reports provide in-depth qualitative and quantitative reporting on a protocol's financial and ecosystem health. Each report includes key insights, ecosystem and financial analysis, and more. Learn more about Protocol Reporting here.
Click on a report's corresponding 🎧
icon to begin listening to a report. An audio player will open in the bottom left corner of the screen to manage the listening experience. Users can seamlessly navigate to other parts of the site without interruption to the audio.
Research
The Research section aggregates all Research Reports that include a project or asset. You can also view reports by type—All, Deep Dives, Recaps, or Standard Reports—or search for specific keywords, authors, or assets.
Charts
The Charts section contains visualizations of key metrics related to a project or network. The number and types of charts vary depending on the data Messari tracks for that asset or network.
Hover over each chart's corresponding tooltip i
icon to learn more about it. Clicking a chart's []
icon provides a larger view.
Adjust the timespan using the options at the top of the chart or use the % of total
toggle when available. Hover over the datapoints to see the underlying figures. Use the chart's interactive legend to include or exclude data from the chart.
To share a specific chart, click the chart's corresponding ...
icon and click Screenshot
. Customize the chart and choose the background color you'd prefer, then click Save
.
Charts can be viewed in a tabulated (table) or chart format. Each Charts page opens, by default, in the Charts format.
Enterprise users can export charts to CSV for additional manipulation.
Charts Pages:
- Fundamentals charts This page includes charts that illustrate key network fundamental metrics and may include metrics such as DeFi TVL and DEX volume.
- Market charts The Markets page may include charts which cover price, volume, marketcap, and risk metrics.
- Social charts Social charts may include metrics such as Reddit subscribers, Reddit active users, Twitter followers, and Telegram users.
- Supply charts Supply charts may include circulating supply, outstanding supply, new issuance, new issuance (native units), total issuance, total issuance (native units), 10 year active supply, active supply for years 1 - 5, and more.
- Addresses charts Addresses charts may include a variety of metrics regarding address activity and distribution including address count and those with balances in both USD (e.g., addresses with balance greater than $10M) and native unit (e.g., those with balance greater than 100 native units).
- Exchange charts Exchange charts may include metrics in both USD and native units, such as supply on all exchanges and supply on specific exchanges (e.g., Kraken).
- Network Activity charts Network Activity charts may cover transactions and blocks.
- Fees & Revenue charts Fees & Revenue charts may include metrics in USD and/or native units such as total fees, average transaction fees, average gas used, miner revenue, miner revenue from fees (%), and total miner revenue.
- Mining charts Mining charts may include metrics on supply, hashrate, and difficulty.
News
The News section aggregates News related to the project or protocol from over 500 sources.
It opens, by default, on the All news page. The All news page includes content from all the sources Messari tracks. Apply filters to narrow your feed by source, category, or subcategory, or use the search bar at the top to narrow your results by other assets.
Additional pages include:
- Curated The Curated news page includes content from a curated list of sources.
- Video The Video page provides video content only. Use the
Source

Clicking on an event, article, or report populates the right side with its content. Read or watch the content, dive deeper by going to the full article or event details, and share using the Share
icon in the right hand corner. Use the ^

icons to move to the next or previous piece in the feed.
Note: News articles utilize Messari AI to create a one hundred-fifty word summary so users can quickly ingest the article's key takeaways. A link to the full article is always available for further reading.
Token Unlocks
The Token Unlocks page allows users to explore and analyze token unlock data, including initial allocations, vesting schedules, and upcoming unlock events.

Fundraising Pages
Fundraising pages cover Projects that have completed raises, Investors, and individual Angel Investors. These are accessible through the main search or when selectingView Fundraising Page
or View Investor Page
at the top of the preview panel.

Project Fundraising Page
An Entity's fundraising page displays:
- a short description
- key data such as total amount raised, number of investors, number of funding rounds, first and latest funding round dates, and cumulative funding raised over time
- links to external sources
- additional information on individual funding rounds and the entity's investors
Investors & Angels Page
An investor's or angel's page includes a short summary and links to related external resources, as well as data on all rounds and co-investors. There may be multiple views for Investments, Funds, and the Investor Portfolio.
The Investments view may include data such as:
- Most common sector among the entities the investor has invested in
- Regular co-investors
- Information on their first and latest investment
- Investment count by round size, Sector (top 10), or Ecosystem (top 10)
- Number of investments over time
The Funds view includes information on specific funding rounds the investor has initiated. Filter by Fund name, Fund Manager, and/or Limited Partner using the search bar and dropdown filters at the top of the table.
Governance
The Governance section covers DAO governance, including proposal details, discussions, voting, and metrics. Explore specific governance structures and processes on the All Proposals, Preliminary Discussions, Votes, and other Governance pages.

Key Developments
The Key Developments section highlights real-time updates and detailed analysis on major protocol events. The Notable Events page is particularly helpful, as it’s curated for high-impact, fundamental events. Additional pages include All Events and those that are related to Infrastructure, Security, and Regulation.
Use the search bar and/or filters at the top to narrow your results, and click on an event to open its preview panel for a quick summary of the event, all related updates, links to external sources, and for the option to view the full event. Share using the Share
icon in the right hand corner. Use the ^

icons to move to the next or previous event.
Enterprise users can export Key Development data to CSV by clicking the Export
icon in the top right corner.

Project Pages offer a range of data, including charts, market data, fundraising information, research reports, and related assets. You can easily access all relevant data about a project, exchange, or investor by using the navigation menu on the left side of the page.
You can access Project Pages by using the search bar in the top right corner. Simply type the name of the project, exchange, or investor and click on its name to navigate to their page. Additionally, you can click on the name of an asset, exchange, or investor anywhere on the platform to access their Project Page or by selecting View Asset Page

How do I navigate through a Project Page?

How do I access a project's fundraising data?
To access a project’s fundraising data, navigate to the Fundraising section of the Project Page. This section details rounds of funding, co-investors, and external resources about the project. For investors, this page focuses on investments and portfolios.
I can't find the Project Page I’m looking for. What should I do?
- First, ensure you are using the search bar in the top right corner of the platform.
- Make sure you are spelling the project or investor name correctly.
- If the Project Page still doesn’t appear, the project might not be covered by Messari. Contact Support for more help.
