Emerging Topics Overview

Find high interest topics and see which themes are graining or losing momentum with Messari's Emerging Topics tool. Use the customizable, live feed and easy-to-read summaries to quickly explore the most popular topics to materialize in the last week.

Access Emerging Topics

Access the Topics tool by navigating to the News tab in the top menu and selecting Emerging Topics.

The Emerging Topics tool includes a Topic Map and a tabulated view of Market Trends (or All Topics). Move between the two features using the left-side navigation menu.

Topic Map

The Topic Map provides a visual overview of the most-mentioned topics in Messari's Newsfeed in the past 7 days.

A topic's size indicates the number of mentions it has received, while its color indicates whether it is trending up or down.

Hover over a topic to read a quick summary, and learn more by clicking the number in a box's top left corner to open its dedicated topic page.

Filters

The Topic Map opens, by default, with those that are created based on all of the assets Messari tracks.

You can narrow down the Topic Map by using the Asset / Watchlist dropdown filter, which updates the Topic Map to only include those related to the asset(s) you care about most.

Market Trends (All Topics)

The Market Trends (All Topics) section offers a tabulated view of the week's trending topics. It provides the:

• Topic subject
• Related assets
• Number of mentions
• Date the topic was created
• Date the topic was last updated

Here, too, you can customize the list using the Asset / Watchlist dropdown filter at the top. Click on a topic to open its dedicated topic page.

Topic Pages

Each topic has a dedicated topic page which provides more information, such as:

• Full topic summary
• Links to related news articles
• The related asset's 1D price performance chart
• Preview panels for quick review of the related asset(s) and article(s)
• Links to additional trending topics

Use the topic page to dive into the sources and to learn more about the related asset(s).
